With the launch of the new console on the Nov 22nd, 2013, Xbox wanted to make a huge statement with the Xbox One. Launch day events were scheduled worldwide from London to Times Square.
I was given the opportunity to design the visual assets for nine screens across Times Square. Duties included, but were not limited to, highlighting launch titles like Ryse: Son of Rome, Forza 5 Motorsport, Dead Rising 3, designing the countdown on Viacom/CBS screen, mocking up potential screen usages, recreating aerial and street level maps, and designing a lower third for broadcast.
